Finally

I am going to make this the last installment of "what we did on Christmas break."

For goodness sakes, it's mid January...honestly, it's old news now. Stop twisting my arm, I cannot become a slave to your addiction to this blog. KIDD...ING!!! I also reserve the right to change my mind...which means if I find more photos I'll do another post.

Yes, it's late and yes I want to get this published so I can move on to all of our exciting current events. Note to self: ***plan something exciting SOON***

Over the holiday break we checked out the zoo in San Antonio.

It was good fun, great to be outside and although some of the exhibits were closed, there was still some really good stuff to see.

My mother in law suggested we pack a picnic which turned out to be a great idea...way better than paying $9 for a soda and goodness knows how much for "zoo food"!

This was one of my favorite rare animal exhibits...

Ahh yes....young men acting like zoo animals...imagine THAT!!

We had such a great time we ended up getting a yearly membership pass.  And just so you know, it's already paying off.  Just today we have received an invitation to this...

Oh yeah, that's right...read it and weep...we have been officially invited to the San Antonio Zoo's Cock-A-Doodle Zoo continental breakfast and behind the scenes tour...I know it just "sounds" exclusive.  You can't see the fine print but it does say "food is first come first served"...what the???  UUh..we have a membership we want our "zoo food!"

Actually, not sure I'll roll out of bed on a weekend to beat feet to a breakfast of "zoo food"...but then again..one never knows...maybe I will...I'm all dangerous like that.  (You can stop laughing now!)

You are doing South Texas good. In six months you've done what it takes locals about six years to accomplish. Very impressive. We need to do lunch.
