Just some completely and totally random stuff that I wanted to share....
I hadn't yet mopped the kitchen floor one day last week when I brought the kids home from school. Brooke saw me with the mop and cleaner and insisted that she be the one to mop...she thought it was sooooo fun????!!!??? OK Brooke...whatever...the job is yours.....forever more!!!!

When I picked up the kids from school today there was quite a congregation of teachers, parents and kids pointing up into one of the trees near the car rider line. I thought it was a baby raccoon but it turns out it was a ringtail cat...which is a member of the raccoon family. He was quite cute and probably a little frightened as these are normally nocturnal animals and clearly it was early afternoon (and, I kid you not...95 degrees!!)
My lunchbox note to Zach. I have always written notes to my kids and put them in the lunchboxes. I still have some of the notes I wrote to Miles when he was a little kiddo..I always write a note to Brooke when she takes her lunch now...and she LOVES it! Now Zach became a lunch buyer after many years of being a lunch taker so when he asked for a packed lunch this past week I jokingly put a note in his lunch. It said "dude, have an awesome Tuesday. MOM." Well, he wasn't embarrassed but did mention that one of his friends said "oh, you have one of those moms who thinks she's cool"
"Umm exsqueeze me what?" Anyway, this is the note I left yesterday. It was necessary!!
I love lemons....just thought someone should know...
and I can't tell you how much I love these laundry products. I have been using this combination for a few years and yes, it's a little pricier than some other products, but I love Tide anyway and this makes doing a bazillion loads of laundry each week bearable...kinda...

I have to get a better camera As I never have any good pictures to put on a blog. Of course if I updated it more than once every six months it would be nice also

you need to check into the festivals for the upcoming months and see when there are some good ones so I can plan my visit around them.
