- World Series baseball...we are rooting for the Tampa Bay Rays...only because neither team is OUR team and we love an underdog
- Fall weather and being able to wear a light sweater, I LOVE fall clothes...ok it's kind of a stretch...it was 41 this morning when I took the kids to school but it's 80 now and even though I applied more than one layer of deodorant, it's warm enough now to officially be pushing the limit...back to a tank top :(
- Report cards and my super "try hard" very smart kids...who are all on the honor roll...all A's people....smartie kids.
- Homemade salsa and homemade fajitas for dinner last night...so yummy!!
- Volunteering at the kids school and helping out with the AR program
- Working on my scrapbook of Valdez and realizing what a great time we had there
- Talking to my sisters on the phone...frequently (as Charlie would say)
- Hot cocoa with pumpkin spice flavoring
- Trip to Costco..I LOVE that place
- That Zach and Brooke got "knighted" at school today because they are such model students who "have maintained a respectful and responsible attitude" for the entire first 9 weeks of school.
- How humble Zach is....we are at the store yesterday and he's got a gift card that he's saved for a LONG time and some money he's also been saving forever...and as he was walking through the store with a Nerf gun, he's been eyeing forever, he was really concerned that people would think "he was a snotty little rich kid who gets everything he wants." Such a sweet boy who realizes that it takes saving to get special items and then worrying that others might not realize that he had saved for, and earned, this treat for himself. He is also the kid that buys a pack of candy and is sure to share it with all of us. LOVE HIM!!
OK and just so you know I'm keepin' it real...Right now, I'm NOT loving...
- Laundry...it just keeps coming...seriously, how many pairs of socks and underwear do my kids own?
- pumpkin cheesecake ice cream is out of stock at the store...yes, I know I'm the person who bought it all, but where is the restock?????
- that Charlie, after 20 years in the military, is actually, really and truly talking about retiring next summer..I'm happy for him, but scared out of my mind
- now that I know who I'm voting for we can stop the political machine...I'm over the nonsense part of the campaigning...let's just find out who's gonna win already
- I'm having a hard time getting and staying motivated to work out
- that there are no cookies in my house right now
Ok there it is...I'm off to make that whole no cookies in my house thing go away. I'm thinking homemade chocolate chip...who's with me???????? Working out???? I never said anything about working out!!!

I am totally loving the pumpkin ice cream too!!! we bought 3 for "just in case" I get told I talk to you way too much as well!! Deanna doesn't know how to call me back so...in case she lost my number be sure to give it to her!!
ok.. still no pumpkin icecream on island... Is my name Gilliagan or what?? also,,, If you work out-- the cookies taste SOOOOO much sweeter... did Cardio Kickboxing at the base gym tonight... gotta love.. I deserve some Oreos-- and maybe hot chocolate with Pumpkin spice flavoring... I can cheat once and a while!!
