After a two weekend hiatus from exploring, we decided to venture out to look for costumes and pumpkins and take some fall photos.
We headed to one of the local parks that was hosting a pumpkin sale. They were lots of folks taking photos and enjoying the beautiful weather. Not quite the fall we are used to, but it was very comfortable and quite a beautiful day.And hello... my kids are the most agreeable when it comes to photo taking. They rarely complain. I truly appreciate that!

Ultimately, we did not find any great costumes so we are in the process of looking for/making some costumes. I love making homemade costumes anyway...but after we saw the prices on the junk that was out there I was even more happy!
Sunday football happenings: Off to make subs for lunch with some homemade potato salad on the side and we are taking a stab at making some homemade bread bowls to serve our broccoli cheese soup in for dinner tonight. I'll let you know how it turns out!
