Enjoy these samples of Art by Miles...
The first drawing was done in sharpie....listen I couldn't draw a stick person in sharpie without screwing it up so this, to me, is impressive in and of itself.

This second piece of art is part of a series of "doodle a day" drawings. Each block represents a few minutes at the start of each day in class and the teacher puts up some abstract "start" and they have to put that in the block and then draw something to incorporate it. Sometimes the "start" is a few dots, other times a squiggly line, etc.
Art is just so important, whether it's music or photography or painting or drawing or whatever type of art you love. It's the creative outlet that is so important and makes all of us well rounded individuals.

I have so much respect for anyone who can draw. I have trouble even making a straight line with a pencil that I can erase and start over with!! The artwork is amazing!! Great job!!
Nice art Miles! And, yes, we voted for McCain too - but with absentee ballots - we didn't get a sticker mailed to us either! Boo!! And a free starbucks coffee, what? nobody told me that.... oh wait, there's not a starbucks here, i must have been dreaming. ha!
Like the new look! I love that website cutestblogontheblock.com!!! :)
Hope you are all doing well and enjoying TX. I would like to call you sometime to catch up and ask a few questions/ideas about AR at HHES. Will you email me your number?
In the words of the late, great Tommy Callahan, " That. Was. AWESOME!!!!...but sorry about your car, dude. That sucks." Ok, so just the first part applies. If it was in the present tense, though. Bummer.
Thanks so much for sharing - hey, if we don't brag about our own kids, who will?
